Kanban board

Manage feedback on a board with a column per status, and drag cards between them.

Updated October 2026

The Kanban board shows a project's feedback as cards in columns, one for each status. It is made for teams that do not use a tool such as ClickUp or Asana to manage tasks, so PinMarks itself can be the board.

Turn it on

  1. 1Open Settings → General (workspace settings). You need to be an owner or admin.
  2. 2Switch on Kanban board. This is part of the Agency plan.
  3. 3Open any project's Feedback page. A Board / List switch appears at the top.

Using the board

  • Columns are your project's enabled statuses, each with a count. Change which ones exist in Project → Settings → Statuses.
  • Drag a card to another column to change its status, or up and down inside a column to put it in the order you want. It works exactly like changing the status in the issue, so linked trackers, emails and notifications are updated too. The card menu (⋮) has Move to for touch screens.
  • Add Task at the bottom of a column (or the + in its header) creates a new issue straight into that status. Type a task name and press Enter, and optionally pick an assignee, a due date and a priority first. Cards show the assignee and, when set, the due date (red once it is overdue).
  • Delete a card from its ⋮ menu. Only owners and admins can delete.
  • Click a card to open the full issue in the quick view.
  • Search and filters above the board work as they do in the list.
  • List brings back the usual list with pages and bulk actions. Switching between Board and List is instant, and PinMarks remembers your choice for next time.

Good to know

  • New cards appear at the top of their column, newest first. Once you reorder a column by dragging, the order is saved for everyone on the team.
  • Tasks created from the board have the type Other (medium priority unless you pick one) and show the person who created them as the reporter. You can change these in the issue.
  • The board is for your team (owners, admins and members). Guests do not see it; they keep using the guest portal.
  • Turning the board off keeps all your issues. The Feedback page simply shows the list again.
