Uptime monitoring
Check your site every minute or so, track incidents and get email alerts, including SSL expiry.
Updated October 2026
Create monitors
Add up to 10 monitors per project. For each, set a URL (HTTP or HTTPS), how often to check (every 1, 5, 10, 15 or 30 minutes, or hourly), a timeout (5 to 30 seconds) and optionally a Must contain text keyword that has to appear in the response.
Statuses
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Operational | Responding normally. |
| Degraded | Responding, but slower than 3 seconds. |
| Down | Failed, and failed again on a second check 4 seconds later. |
| Pending / Paused | Not checked yet, or paused by you. |
Incidents are tracked, results are kept for 30 days, and you see a 30-day uptime figure.
Monitor details
The Uptime page summarises overall status, average response time and the number of monitors. Click a monitor to open Monitor details: a Response time chart, the list of Incidents and your Recent checks with response and status. From there you can edit or Delete the monitor.
Alerts
Owners and admins get emails when a monitor goes down and when it is back up. PinMarks also checks your SSL certificate about once a day and emails you when it expires in 14 days or less. Toggle alert emails per monitor.
