Pages, page rules and Monitor settings
Control which pages are scanned, exclude or force URLs, and change scan settings.
Updated October 2026
The Pages view
It lists every monitored page with when it was last scanned and its number of open issues (or "Clean"). Click a row to see the issues on that page. If some pages have not been scanned yet, a note explains that each scan covers the next batch.
Exclusions and forced pages
When pages come from your sitemap you can shape the list:
- URL exclusions: skip anything matching a rule. Rules match the path and query from the start, and
*is a wildcard, for example/blog/*or/pricing?lang=fr. - Forced pages: always scanned, and scanned first, even if excluded or missing from the sitemap. Add them one at a time or paste a list.
Monitor settings
| Tab | What you can change |
|---|---|
| Scanning | Schedule (daily, weekly, monthly or never, with day and time), site access, and removing the domain. |
| Pages | Page limit (1 to 30), and the page source: Sitemap (with Re-check) or a List of URLs. |
| Accessibility | WCAG 2.1 or 2.2, level A, AA or AAA, and the Best practices switch. |
Only owners and admins can change settings. A bar appears when you have unsaved changes, with Save changes and Discard. Remove domain deletes the domain's scans, issues and scores.
Site access
For protected sites set a User Agent, Cookies (JSON), Custom headers (JSON) or Basic-auth username and password. They are only sent to your monitored domain and are never shown again after saving. Re-test domain access reports one of: reachable, login required (401), blocked (403), not found (404), timed out after 12 seconds, or could not connect.
All projects
The Monitor item in the main sidebar shows a card per project with its domain, open issues and last scan date, and links into each project's monitor.
