Questions

What is PinMarks?
A visual feedback and bug-reporting tool for websites. People point at what is wrong on your site, you get an annotated screenshot with technical details, and it can flow into the tools you already use. It also includes Website Monitoring for accessibility, SEO, broken links, legal and uptime checks.
Do reporters need an account?
No. Anyone can report from the widget; anonymous visitors are asked for a name and email. Signed-in members and invited guests are identified automatically.
Does it work on mobile?
Yes. On narrow screens the widget shows a simplified toolbar. Video feedback is desktop only.
Can I use it on staging or a site I cannot edit?
Yes. Use the staging-only option in the WordPress plugin, load the snippet only on staging hosts, or use the browser extension to reveal the widget on a site without adding any code.
Will it slow my site down?
The widget script loads asynchronously and does nothing until someone opens it.
Is there a free trial?
Plans include a 15-day free trial with no credit card. See the pricing page for current prices.
Is there a public API?
There is no general REST API. To read feedback or change a status from your own tools use MCP, and to receive events use webhooks.
Where do reports go?
Into your project's Feedback inbox, and into any connected tool such as Jira, GitHub, ClickUp or Slack.
Can I give a client access without adding them to my team?
Yes. Invite them as a guest with the project's join link or by email. They can report, comment and follow progress.
